New Challenges

I would like to share with you important news from my side. I accepted the offer to be appointed as the new National Director for Data Protection Authority in Argentina. I recently started with my new job. Because of my new job, I decided to resign as CELE´s Director.

As many of you may remember, after living in the US for many years, I returned to Argentina in 2009. At that time, I founded CELE, the Center for Studies on Freedom of Expression and Access to Information. After seven years as CELE's director, I will depart from the center to face new professional challenges. During all these years, CELE increased the amount of financial support it received, which allowed us to carry out our activities and fulfill the center's goals. All of CELE´s research was possible thanks to the work we did together with the many researchers who collaborated with the center, and of course, with people like many of you that always help us.

Thanks for your support during the past years and I look forward to staying in touch with you in one way or another from my new position.
